I blend my background in gender history and philosophy with a passion for yoga, and neuroscience which plays a meaningful role in the mindful and therapeutic style of my teaching. Always looking for new activities I discovered yoga in 2009 and was literally floored. My mind, body, and soul felt in peace; I knew I wanted to teach and learn more in the future. It wasn’t until a personal traumatic experience I knew it was time to take that plunge into teaching. My desire was wanting to return to myself and expand my knowledge to help guide others. I started teaching classes at the YWCA and private clients one-on-one. My passion to help shift stagnant emotion whether it be on the surface, attached to an injury or within your nervous system had me search for more education to broaden my scope and that is what brought me to the Vancouver School of Healing Arts. I have a playful energetic approach in therapy sessions; with your guidance and my intuition I invite you in seeking your own path to calming you mind, body, spirit and finding your way back to self.
